Training Opportunity: Foundations of Gender-Affirming Care

We are excited to announce a free full-day provider training on “Foundations of Gender-Affirming Care,” on Saturday, November 11, in Bend. This pilot training is designed by the Gender Hive team to help Central Oregon healthcare providers build foundational skills, knowledge, and confidence in gender-affirming care. Thanks to funding from PacificSource, this training is free to attend — we just ask that providers give thoughtful feedback to inform our curriculum development.

Who is this training for?

This training is for Central Oregon primary, pediatric, and mental/behavioral health care providers, as well as specialists interested in learning how to better care for transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse patients. Space is limited, so we will prioritize providers who have not previously participated in gender-affirming care training and/or are working in more rural/remote communities.

How do I sign up?

Register online here and we will follow up once we have confirmed there is still space available.
